The Cottage at Arrandale Farms
Nestled in the NW valley in the city of Phoenix, amongst the bustle of a sprawling metropolis there is a two-acre farm. It is a place of serenity, where time has no meaning, & nature flourishes. This is Arrandale Farms, a unique urban farm. The cottage is our original bnb on our farm since 2016. This year (2025) we have done extensive renovations to incorporate all of the great feedback we have received from guests over the years. We are excited to offer this unique experience. Good to know
The Cottage is separated from our main house by about 20 feet and has recently been updated with new windows, an air conditioner, a bathroom, and an outdoor shower. Though the shower is outdoors almost all of our previous guests tell us this is the highlight of their stay all year long whether it is cold or hot out.

Parking is located at the front of the property. Walking to the unit is about 100ft from parking.
Due to the nature of our property, their safety, and our livestock safety, no pets are allowed. Please be aware that the property does have animals on site. This includes (but not limited to) donkeys, alpacas, chickens, emu, goats, dogs, cats, birds, and pigs. Farm animals do make noises and can make smells. We pride ourselves in trying to decrease this as much as possible.
We have three unique units on our 2-acre farm. Each one has something we feel makes them special. Be sure to check out The Airstream at Arrandale Farms and The Artist Studio at Arrandale Farms.
We also have an outdoor equipment rental company called OUTr RIM Adventure Rentals where you can rent inflatable paddle boards, beach chairs, mountain bikes, and more. Lake Pleasant is only 30 minutes north of the farm and a fantastic place to spend a day. The best part is that we can have the equipment ready for you pretty much on demand.

Early check-in, If you need an early check-in we will accommodate you as much as we possibly can. Please do not change the check-in times in your booking request without messaging us before sending it. We cannot accommodate check-ins earlier than 1pm.
Please make sure to book all the nights you wish to stay. Even if you are on the fence about the length of your trip. We book up fully all year long.
Our farm is a non-smoking property for the safety, health, and well-being of our animals.
Self-guided tours are permitted (please do not pet or feed the animals)
For the purposes of maintaining the peace and tranquility for our guests, we are unable to host events/gatherings/weddings.

Neighborhood
We are Chad and Anthony, our neighborhood was built in 1969. At that time it was on the outskirts of Phoenix and was boasted as "farm life in the city".. Thus we are surrounded by unique and cute little farms. Some of them host exotic animals such as deer, zebra, and camels. Beyond our neighborhood, we are within a short drive to lake pleasant, numerous hiking trails, Hurricane Harbor, World Wild Life Zoo, Musical Instrument Museum, outlet malls, and other shopping.
Guest Access
Guests have access to our orchards, orchard grand dining area, the rose garden, bean bag toss, ping pong table, and the cottage. Parking is located at the front of the property with a private gate-coded entry.

Our stay at the cottage was perfect! It was exactly as described and very peaceful. We did not want to leave the room! The bed was really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. We liked the proximity to downtown Phoenix and to Sedona. We will definitely love to stay at Arrandale Farms again!

Great stay, had a good time , so beautiful and it’s like ur on your own small farm, would definitely stay here again, the pigs are super nice and funny. Ac works good, the weather was 120 while I was here and inside was a life saver super cool air b&b to stay at 10/10

The Cottage exceeded our expectations, the place felt like our own little oasis. The hosts were extremely proactive with their communication, making the arrival, the exit, and everything in between a seamless process. Between the thoughtful interior design of each air bnb on the property, the cleanliness, the many amenities, and the efficient communication, it was evident the hosts were seasoned pros. The Cottage is small, but has everything you need. The animals roaming the property are friendly and add a special touch to your stay. Would happily return again and would love to some day check out the other stays on the property.

I don’t even know where to begin, this farm stay was truly one of the most memorable Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I had stepped into a slower, more peaceful way of life. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, warm, and full of local knowledge. They made me feel right at home while still giving me the space to relax and explore on my own.

I highly recommend you stay at Chad's place. My husband and I couldn't have had a more pleasant stay. The room was spotless and ice cold. Aesthically it is a 10/10, so much attention to detail put in to this adorable little cottage. Filtered water was provided and an abundance of complementary coffee. Like others have said, the outdoor shower is absolutely the highlight of the whole experience. I wish I had one at home. Lots of adorable animals everywhere to greet you and make you smile. Next time we are in the area I know exactly where we'll be staying.

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. It was perfect in every way possible. The kitchen, wardrobe and outdoor shower were my favorite part of the cottage and the farm itself is so lovely. Chad shared peaches from the peach tree on the farm and they were the best peaches I had in a long time. We ate them every morning with our breakfast! We would totally stay here again.

I came to Phoenix for a medical appointment and I could’ve not chosen a better place such as Chad‘s farm. It was immaculate, peaceful, and I enjoyed every part of my visit. Only that I wish it would’ve been longer. It was also very pleasant to wake up in the morning and be greeted by Farm pigs
if I’m ever in the area again I’m gonna check out Chad‘s rental and become a guest. Happy guest.

chad had great communication with an error on air bnb’s part. he was able to make accommodations quickly, which was great for a last minute booking. his home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. we were able to make chicken alfredo for dinner 😋 in the morning we took a walk and came across all the animals, which are very friendly. the outside shower was a great experience. i’ve recommended this place immediately.

The best form of transportation in Phoenix is by car. Renting a vehicle or bringing your own is recommended and one off-street parking space is provided. Uber and Lyft are also available and they do pick-up and drop-off at Sky Harbor Airport.
